Rain retreat.. Kao Pan Sa Day .. "PHANSA" is the Buddhist rainy season. The rain retreat or Buddhist Lent is marked by two major religious events : one for the entering of the rainy season called "WAN KHAO PHANSA" and for the exit of the rainy season called "WAN OKK PHANSA" (Khao means in , okk means out)
Today it was "Kao Pan Sa Day" , I'm giving you here some photos from yesterday showing the images and candles as they finished to do them and show them in public just before the parade today.
