Buriram Immigration
« on: October 19, 2017, 10:40:10 PM »
Outstanding service from the nice people at Buriram Immigration Office yesterday 18th.

                                                         bravo1

Went for my annual Marriage Visa Extension, left home near Big C at 2pm, back just before 3pm, all done and dusted.

The IO was not happy with our home pictures, but with a smile gave me advice on what they want and asked that I do them that way next year.

They accepted the Embassy proof of income letter and did not ask to see my bank book.

The TM7 I had used was an old copy from the Kap Choeng days, the IO got out a new form and I expected to be asked to fill it out like a naughty schoolboy.

He just smiled, transferred my picture to the new document and asked me to sign in the appropriate places and said he'd fill it out later.

The usual multiple stamps and "come back in 30 days".

Fantastic service, it was almost a pleasure.  happy3

Thx for that.

Can you explain a bit more what kind of pictures they would like to see as we are almost due in going to get the same extension.

Thx again

They want three pictures each with you and wife.

1. Outside showing house number if possible
2. Inside - Living Area
3. Inside - Bedroom

I'm happy to send you the pictures I submitted if you PM me your e-mail. Can't attach here because the file is too big and I'm clueless how to reduce it

They want to see the background more than you.

Hope this helps.

Perfect.

One more question please. Would printed pictures be acceptable or do they need to be from a Print Shop on regularly Photo Paper ??

Printed pictures are fine - best if you can put all three on one A4 sheet.

In my initial post I forgot to mention that I had not copied enough of my Passport pages.  loco

No problem, the IO took my passport and copied those I had missed himself.

Also there is no need for multiple copies of everything. I supplied 1 copy which was ok.

I did however remember to scan it all to my laptop so I have a reference start point for next year..... :)
