Are these stats just for the town area of Buriram?

The reason I ask is that between 12kms and 23kms south of Buriram, along the road to Prakhonchai, there was a  very heavy rain storm on 24th February.

I know what you mean Steve. At my place behind BigC we had two really good downpours mid month, and another day it bucketed down at the Bus Station but my place got nothing.

TMD recorded zero rainfall on all of these days.

The figures I display are official TMD reports. I've no idea where the actual recording aparatus is located, or who does the recording.

However, I guess it's the same for big cities all over the world isn't it. Could be raining in one suburb, but at the weather bureau they get nothing.

Maybe an expat that speaks fluent Thai could ask around town, and share the knowledge ?

Might even be a Mars Bar in it ?

I did ask my wife, but she obviously doesn't like Mars Bars, as she had no idea what I was on about.   :D

I did some checking on the Internet in Thai but couldn't find much. That's why I asked if you knew.

I guess there is an area of Buriram that is used as a reference point.

Bit like when there is a bet about snow on Christmas day in the UK. It has to snow at the weather station at the BBC office. It could be snowing just down the road but it doesn't count.
