As noted in the post above,  proper install using proper equipment is paramount to having a properly performing hot water tank. Can't fault the equipment!

A water boiler tank NOT made in Germany, not made in Italy, not made in Thailand is now on sale at the Buriram Global House Store. It does have a German sounding name and the box is amazingly similar to Stiebel Eltron. It is a Global House exclusive brand that you will not find at Buriram HomePro, Buriram Thai Watsadu.  I have no idea if they have a warranty repair service similar to the fine folks of Stiebel Eltron.

Why, when living in a tropical country, would anyone want a water heater?

I understand the need for a tank and a pump but a heater???

You would not take a non-heated shower at my place in January when the morning temperature is 11 - 13 degrees; freeze yer nads off!


I don't believe that you can get crockery, glasses and cutlery properly clean without heated water - and I am buggered if I am going to boil a kettle/pan to get that.

But I also had a Jacuzzi, when half full the hot water ran out. 

So I believe the in line water heaters are the way to go.  Get a copper tank.  And if water is not heating, turn down the water flow. 

I prefer the Thai in line heater to the American water tank.

Every situation is different, that's why they are situations.
I have: shower in the small toilet room.
Shower and bath in the annexe
A kitchen that also needs hot water.
I didn't see a need to state every reason I have for looking at this possible solution.
I am not going to buy two extra water heaters, or probably not, I'm guessing that a water storage heater will be the better solution in the long run. In my possibly antiquated point of view, in line heaters tend to break every few years.

Davu, there is also pipe similar to  pvc that is designed for hot water application.  I believe it is green color.

I believe you need a special crimping tool with this Green Piping, but Bob at RST can tell you everything about it.

There is flexible white piping (which is rated for hot water) which doesn't need these special tools.
