Limit of 2 'visa exempt' entries by land per year after Dec 31st
« on: December 20, 2016, 10:29:20 AM »
I'm sure you guys know about this already, but they published a rule change in the Royal Gazette stating that effective Dec 31st, 2016 they are limiting visa exempt entries when comin' in by land to 2 per calendar year.

This rule change will not affect anyone who has to "border-bounce" <-stamp out of thailand, stamp in&out of another country and stamp back into thailand to activate another entry on a multi-entry visa.

There is as yet no "official" limit to the number of times you can fly in and get a visa exempt stamp.

I guess its a good thing that single entry tourist visas to thailand are free at all thai consulates in the world until Feb 28th..
