use an email from either gmail, yahoo or hotmail, immigrations wouldn't send you confirmation

Any of you guys done a successful 90 day online report who didn't use one of those three email providers?

I use AOL and did not receive any emails from immigration on the status.

I have a live.co.uk email address which I believe is a hotmail. I received a confirmation of approval email.

Just got a message from my Bud in Patts that was not able to do the on-line.  The office told him that you can't do on-line within 7 days of the report, must be 15-8 days before.

That's strange as you would assume (sometimes dangerous here) that its a nationwide system. I was told last week at Immigration that it had to be completed within the time frame of 7 days before & 4 days after report date.

Obviously there are a lot of bugs to work out.   However my plan is to start trying the online report 15 days out, then if no success will still have to leeway on what day to go to immigration.

While I hate to say your local immigrations office is wrong, or the info your buddy in Chonburi was told, is wrong, it is, <- TOTALLY wrong.

Here's a screen shot of both the guidelines on the first page of the immigrations 90 day website AND the example they show;

The 4th bullet point is what it says on the main page when you click you understand the terms.

This example shows an EIGHT day window with the 7th day being the last day..

I'd call the 1111 government hot-line and see if you can't get someone there to call them and set them straight..

Personally I don't see how it is totally wrong.  There is a day discrepancy.  But what we seem to agree is that if you are within 6 days of the report date, you cannot do it on-line.

Bottom line, start the on-line application at the beginning of the report window, waiting can mean the application will not be accepted because of the time window.

I just did mine online yesterday, 14 days before due date.  This morning I received an email (yahoo account) saying it was approved.  I went to the website, entered my reference number, and printed out my next appointment sheet.  Very smooth.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, so don't hate the messenger but;

First off it IS a nationwide program and no office has the ability to "opt-out".. If your office says they don't accept online reporting, call the 1111 government hotline and rat them out. Someone will call them up and tell them, they have to accept it.

Second, no matter what your hare-brained immigration staff is telling you, these are the official rules from the User Guide for how the 90 day online reporting system works..

By the illustration you see that you can submit an online report from 15 days down until 7 days BEFORE your report is due.. Anything else is outside the "8 day window of opportunity" and you go turn it in yourself or mail it (if your office accepts applications by post).

It appears, from everything I can glean off the thai related forums out on the inter-web that the Kap Choen Immigrations office has the most approvals online, or at least the most people who've reported back and said they've done it successfully.

I did talk to Jomtien Immigrations yesterday about the 90 day online system and was told IF I didn't use an email from either gmail, yahoo or hotmail, immigrations wouldn't send you confirmation that you have a 90 day pending or if it's been approved.

Instead you have to go check the status on their website using the reference number or passport, DOB, nationality to find out..

Any of you guys done a successful 90 day online report who didn't use one of those three email providers?
Jomtien may need an email address from one of the providers above, but Kap Choeng does not.
I got my approved email notification a couple of weeks ago via an address of a private domain. <me@somedomain.com>

Hi Guys, I don't seem able to get the link from the first post to open the extranet. I had a similar problem with the Bangkok bank website not handling win 8.1 a while ago but that got fixed, would one of you kind people just check and see if they are down or it is my laptop again, tried an ipad too with no success but that could be a safari issue with them.
Cheers T.B

The link has changed to:

https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn90online/online/tm47/TM47Action.do

However the new link reports a certificate error following an attempt by immigration to "self certify" the site, without a certificate from one of the "big" certificate providers. There are a few posts on TV about this.

There may have been a change to the link according to this http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/837351-immigration-site-down/
