Thought as much lol wish i could justify that to myself but im sorry thats a lot of money for a toy even the 200 is expensive for what it is but could be tempted although am slightly favouring an enduro bike given the condition of the roads here and the use that i will be putting it to (not planning any major mileage just a little entertainment )

Sorry Kerr69. I haven't had time to get in there.

I will have a look soon. I will try to get a full price list of every model for you.

KTM are great bikes. I will have to go and look my myself.

I used to do a bit of motocross in my youth. I rode a KTM 250. That was one hell of a powerful bike.

And as previously stated, Top, the guy who owns the KTM shop, speaks perfect English.

Makes life very easy when asking questions

60000 baht more than a honda crf 250 m and honestly i couldnt justify the price as i wanted something for fun thats cheap to run and reliable and wont break on the dirt roads here (ie enduro bike) i know the ktm is a fantastic bike as in england i owned 6 of them from the 600 duke upto the 990 smr and all were fantastic bikes except the 690 duke  as i managed to break the gearbox on that one on the way home from its second service
even in england parts for these are hard to come by in the dealer network so i would imagine here the problem is worse where as honda parts are everywhere here and the crf is made here so very cheap to buy off the shelf spares
I bought a crf250 l
first impressions are its well made
but slow and heavy
i have allready ordered and fitted an electronic box that alters the fueling and this has made the bike quicker and smoother next thing is an exhaust which will help a little more then i think the bike will do everything i need it to do here in lahan sai

Yeah suspected as much about price and parts the duke is apparently half the price in Cambodia but i will not be going there to buy it will probably be the Honda after all that's purchased

If you get a honda contact me as i have a guy in thailand who imports the fuel injection controller and exhausts and airfilters and the prices seem ok (cheaper than importing them yourself anyway ) and honestly the bike needs them to release its true potential (theres even a big bore kit availabe )
