The responses I got were based on BYOB.    My 6 x 12 snooker is scheduled to be delivered 30 July.

So a good time should be had by all.

Wow, no takers

Maybe when you have some decent Jalapeno peppers.

Oh but having indecent Jalapenos with cream cheese and cheddar is worth the adventure.

At Marko.  It is hit or miss about them having them.  Have not seen any for about a month, but yesterday they had an OK selection (5 slabs, I bought 4).

A good place to get great, fresh ribs is at one of the numerous afternoon markets in and around Buriram.

One near the Elephant roundabout on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. One in Nongbep on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.(Can get there from the bypass by turning right at the traffic lights at Tambon Issan office, or from the town by turning left at the traffic lights near the bus station and going past the small Esso petrol station). Wednesday and Sunday at the junction of the 218 and 226.

I believe there is also one near to where you live, Urleft. Thursday and Sunday?

They usually set up and are ready to sell at 4pm (ish). Get there a little before, just as they are starting to butcher, and you can get the guy to cut to your liking.

Yes they sell ribs, but Thai style with a small strip of bones and some meat.  Some of my favorite part of ribs it the meat on the inside.  I haven't seen any like what I get at Makro in the local markets.

And at the Ban Yang Wat they have a market every Tuesday and Friday.  So I usually get to a local market at least twice a week.  However, I am unsure of buying pork there with all the flies on the unrefidgerated meat being butchered right there.  For those that have not seen that, the Thai way to get rid of flies is to attach a plastic bag to a stick and swish at the flies.

Get there early, Urleft, before they start cutting. I have been to the one at the junction of the 218 and 226 at about 3:30. The guy starts with half a carcass. I show him what I want.

I got a shoulder last week, with skin and fat still on.Hot oven for 40 minutes to cook the skin and make it crispy. Then Slow roasted it for 2 hours over some onions, leeks, carrots and some home made passata.

Well, no additional takers, but had 2 Brits, an Aussie, myself and 3 TWs there, end result was no ribs left.

And I had my support fridge ready for them:
