 Hi i am here in lahansai at last finally got internet i have been here for 2 weeks so far and we have just opened the salon on the 5th so got real bed and furniture and everything lol i have seen numerous farrang passing but not sure if they have noticed me working in here fixing the place up if your popping to the tescos call in and say hello will be good to meet you we have been sleeping in ban song so maybe 30km away but now we will salon full time until we build house in village for mum , i have had the old house lifted up a little and was amazed at the process would never happen in england like that lol

Not an expat as such but will be in lahan Sai for an extended 6 week stay very soon so will say hi.

The farrang bar near where the market is always has people and I had a decent night there with a Dutch fella when was last over so hoping for the same this trip. I love Buriram but find it a little boring after a few weeks

I Can see that life in lahan sai wouldnt suit all due to its layed back atmosphere and lack of entertainment shall we say but i wanted a peaceful life and this suits me fine so far lol  Havent got down to the farrang bar yet and dont have food storage facility yet (ie freezer) but will be ordering some bacon and pies as soon as i find one Nookie

I come to Lahan Sai every other month. I quite enjoy the calmer pace of life there, maybe I am getting old! Where is your salon? Maybe I will drop the missus off there so I can go and get a beer.

I will try to get there sometime, but kind of busy right now with the bun in the box and going to America soon.  Plus I really try to avoid drinking and driving, the most beers I have had in Buriram Bars is 3. 

So a coke lite would be good (but it would be difficult to pass up a good cider).

Well Keith ,I'm afraid you missed out on the free barrel of Scrumpy ,I actually had the last of it last night.....I'm in 2 minds whether to stock it as a regular item....it would be around 130 baht a pint,which is very cheap for a quality Scrumpy.
