Which country has the worst food

What is really beautifull is that when a country thas "used" to rule the world, that invented games like cricket, tennis, gold and a great cardgame bridge ..... your cuisine starts with things that eiter can be a starter, main dish or dessert like Yorkshire pudding, it makes non-english people wonder.
Furthermore : the description of this "cuisine" leaves everything to the imagination ...

- bangers and mash : who did the banging in the mash ?

- bubble and squeak : do whe have to smother someone first ?

- toad-in-the-hole : is this a male or female thing ?

- spotted dick : is this contagious ?

- crumpets : a tasty "muffin" ?

can I go on !!!

And then the most basic english one : pie and mash .... it is an original East End London meal ... prepared with EELS !!!!


But then I like eel ...

How many of the english food knockers have had "real" english food...In the UK??? I'm not talking about the USA/thai version of it....Have you had a real english/scottish/irish breakfast? IMHO it can't be beaten....
How many have had mince & tatties, liver & onions, a stotty cake sandwich, a saveloy dip, a bacon & black pudding sandwich...giant yorkshire pudding filled with mince & veggies or steak & kidney....

Have spent almost 2 months with the UK in Bashra, I have never experienced so many ways to screw up chicken.  What a bunch in lousy food. 

So my vote goes to the UK as the worst.

Bro believe me, your vote is correct, another Mongolian national dish is dry caramel curd, a bucket of camel milk dryed in the sun and tastes like ear wax with the consistency of chalk. Love bangers and mash, Yorkshire puddings, pea and ham soup.... All great food, I'm an Aussie and love my British grub

All the things you miss are available, at a very good standard, from Coffee Corner, or from Buriram Pie Man or Nookie.

No need to miss out on all the great British food Mikeh. It is not just avalable in Thailand but here in Buriram province.

Coffee Corner in Prakhonchai does fantastic fish and chips (not wrapped in newspaper though) whilst our own Steve (Buriram Pieman) can supply the rest which is of excellent quality.
