Antonio...I don't understand your reply..
3 images clapping...cut and paste?

What does that mean?
Singhma i was clapping Co-Co reply to your comment.
By buying everything your T/W or T/G wants sets the standard for the future.
If you give everything in the beginning that is the standard they will expect.
Give a little and see how the response is,if it ain't good enough then just walk away, cos it wont get any better.

this advice should be pinned at Suvarnabhumi airport.

It is not being tight, it is being sensible.

Speaking generally, Thais can spend all the money you can throw at them - but their gratitude is not proportionate. You will get no more thanks for 100k than you would for 10k. You won't get any thanks anyway, but that is another matter.  :)

Feed your money in slowly and remember the golden rule - what you spend in Thailand, stays in Thailand. A good, rewarding relationship can be established with a step by step approach.

It appears that many guys here do not have a relationship at all. They seem to have a 100% business deal, nothing more. Some of us are fortunate to have a real relationship, maybe because we treat our Thai partners with respect. But many seem more interested in saving a baht-more to spend on grog to drown your sorrows-You poor Bxxtards.

Hi ..this is going round in circles..
My comments below is how I think any relationship should be ..in my opinion.
I spent many years learning to speak , read, write thai..to me personally it makes a big difference in living in Thailand.
Trust is always built slowly, anywhere same.
It also makes life a lot simpler..
As with any woman, regardless where they come from, communication is very important.
It is the basis of any friendship, both male or female.
Isn't it friendship first, then courtship, during the friendship period, getting to know each other, formulates as to whether
a relationship could be formed.
Without effective communication, how do you know you anything about each other?

Have a good day. :)

You have completely missed the point,i respect my wife and have a good relationship with her,but i not going to put my hand in my pocket for everything she or the family want, would not have done it in England with my previous wife and will not do it here.
There is no set amount of money to give here only what one can afford.
I wish you well in your real relationship.

Singhma, you seem to have the right idea.I am a bit annoyed with the attitude some of these guys have towards Thai women.A perfect example was Croc calling his T/W or T/G a JB  [jungle bunny]I find this highly offensive. These guys will need more than a thick skin if their T/W finds out what they are being called behind their backs! Communication and respect take precedence over saving money every time in my book.

Why would you want a roof Adam?

As a Villa fan surely the sky is the limit. party4

Oh poor simpled minded Eric ... you don't know the slightest bit of me and my 10 year marriage and my 10 year of living full time with my inlaws ... so if I call my wive sometimes JB it is my prerogative and anyway who are you to deduct JB means junglebunny for me ? You must have had a very poor education if you think so low over other people but I suspect you are rather "new" and then off coiurse you know ERVERYTHING or you just are a troll trying to stir up a hornetsnest.
Good luck in both cases.

I thought I could buy the old one cheap and use it to block the goal Villa are defending, so we keep a clean sheet for a change.

Is the 2012, when you arrived in Thailand Eric??  welcome1

I pay my wife a set 10,000 tbh a month and it works just fine, are you qualified to give judgement on others?
