What concerns me is why these 4 women, and indeed all the other boys and girls  sign up voluntarily for this line of work. It is they that in my view need to seek the help of psychiatrists.

Using your logic it would have been better if Europe had just let Hitler do what Hitler wanted to do.  As George Orwell stated very well "People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."

Or perhaps the following quote is applicable:

What happened in Europe with Germany has no significance with the Afghan conflict.

I don't think it's the same as traveling half way around the world to illegally invade a country,and then justify it's actions by saying we are doing this in the fight against terrorism.

When most of the world knows that is not true.
