The Phusing, (Chong Sa Ngam) crossing just inside Sisaket province is far more used friendly than Chong Chom. No touts, seemingly no customs and friendly immigration staff. Also the run in to Siem Reap is on a good road with pleasant countryside.

The Cambodian visa at this border costs $25 as against further inflated prices at other border crossings.

Sorry for wrong info - it must be new because my mate went there not to long ago and it was a bad road - Good news  its new , might do the trip myself with the Mrs some time ;]
Be nice to have the car over there to pop about in .

I don't need my motorcycle there. I just enjoy riding it around! I recently rode it all the way to Khlong Yai! 1200 km in 3 days! Here are some pics and a Google map of the trip, if your interested.

About Cambodia, no clear information, really--except for the road situation. Maybe I'll have to take a ride out to the border and ask a few questions!

I have a Lifan Cross 200. It's a Chinese made on/off road bike. It's a really fun bike to ride, but the quality is not the best.  It only costs 45,000 brand new, so you can't expect too much from it!

Do you ride?
