THE ANGKOR WAT EXPERIENCE October 2012


(Actual dates to confirmed subject to demand)

We have been asked by 3 people for a departure date of Thursday 4th October. We will provisionally work with this date but will be prepared to consider alternative dates depending on demand. 
 
 
Prakhonchai Expat Services are pleased to present their 8th discovery tour to Siem Reap, from where you can visit the world famous Angkor Wat.  The price of 4,100/4600 Baht per person (based on 2 people sharing a Superior room/Deluxe room at City River Hotel)  or 4,350 Baht per person (based on 2 people sharing a Deluxe room at La Niche D'Angkor Hotel) includes return minibus/coach travel from Prakhonchai to Siem Reap and 3 nights, plus breakfast, in either the City River 3 star hotel or the La Niche D'Angkor Boutique  hotel.  Both have swimming pools.

For single travelers the cost will be circa 5,300 Baht for a Superior room or 5,800 Baht for Deluxe. at City River hotel or 5,800 Baht at La Niche D'Angkor hotel.

Triple and interconnecting rooms are available if required at both hotels


Alternative accommodation for single travelers is provided at the Wooden Angkor hotel, the cost is 4,800 Baht for a Superior room and 5,300 Baht for a Deluxe room.

 Day 1  -  07.00 Leave Prakhonchai - arrive hotel by 13.00
 Day 2  -  09.00 Visit to Angkor Wat (optional)
 Day 3  -  Free Day - consider trip to floating villages on Tonle Sap
 Day 4  -  11.00 Depart hotel - arrive Prakhonchai approx 16.00

The itinerary allows time on the day of arrival to discover Siem Reap and perhaps visit the National Museum that has a whole floor dedicated to Buddha. A useful source of information prior to visiting Angkor Wat. There are several Buddhist temples in Siem Reap including Wat Preah which is close to the City River and La Niche D'Angkor hotels. Alternatively, you may wish to relax with a glass of Angkor draft beer for 50 Cents (16 Baht) in Pub Street! All hotels are situated approx 5 minutes from the centre by tuk-tuk. (10/15 minutes leisurely walk)

The October trip to Siem Reap will now be a 2 night visit departing on 11th October.

Until final numbers are established we cannot be certain of the cost, but will likely be between 3,450 Baht to 3,950 Baht per person, based on 2 sharing.

The tour starts from Prakhonchai, Tony, so the only additional transport costs are those incurred in reaching and returning from Prakhonchai
