I think that the causes of Australia's mediocre performance are twofold:

1. Those Kangaroo brand condoms are selling because they are too small for non-Australians. Therefore, there is little income for beer and steaks.

2. The country has an unelected Welsh lesbian Prime Minister instead of an elected one.

Yup, GB did well for a country, or group of countries, with a population much smaller than the US or China.

I really don't now what happened to Australia, but then I wasn't watching.

Olympic updates

The Chinese are unbeatable in the Olympic pool. They have improved greatly since Morecambe Bay 2004.

Just wishing the Brazilian hurdlers good luck, last time a Brazilian jumped a barrier in London the police shot him.

Chinese girl swimming in finals today is expected to smash the world record by 10 seconds. Che Ting Twat said she is very optimistic!

So far the Romanians have taken gold, silver, bronze, copper, lead and anything else they can get their thieving bloody hands on!

Definitely no shame Rufus, you duffed us into 3rd place in Sailing boatsailing where with a massive home advantage, we should have been 1st. congrats

And talking of home advantage, we were doing the timing and measuring etc., whistle so really we should have done much better than third overall don't you think?

A great spectacle though for the most part, good to watch and honestly, does it really matter who got the biggest medal tally?
Most of the over the hill “stars” party2 they wheeled out at the start and finish were cringeworthy – apart from Eric Idle of course  “always look on the bright side of life”  was a nice touch I thought.

I could have done without the lovely boys they used to carry the medal cushions at the victory ceremonies, what was that all about?

Hope I'm still around for Brazil – that'll be all sequins, feathers, tits and bums.....  thumbup

Hope you are correct, but remember they are south of the equator so it will be their winter hosting the summer Olympics.     snow1
