Thai Seng Trading Co. Ltd which has the exclusive importing rights to Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam for all Makita Tools sent two Japanese executives to Ruangsangthai in Buriram to present new Makita Garden products and new Makita power Tools for me to consider. The Thai speaking training manager spent several hours in my Buriram classroom to better train my sales floor staff in the features and value of Makita and Maktec Tools. Mr. Pitsanu Chanaya the manager of Thai Seng Trading Company agreed to host four of the Ruangsangthai tool service  staff for extensive repair training in Bangkok in August.  I also requested that Mr. Yuto Saito consider sending the current Miss Makita to our store in Buriram to assist expats in the proper sizing of bush cutters.  In the photo you can see Miss Wilawan Sararam who is bilingual and the Buriram repair service department manager. She is very proud to post the Makita Certificate of Authorized Service Point signed by Mr. Yoshiharu Nishiguchi the President of Thai Seng Trading Company Ltd.

S.P.E. the #1 importer of DeWALT Power Tools, Stanley Power Tools and Stanley hand tools in Thailand, has given my hardware store some exclusive Stanley hand tools to offer home builders and D.I.Y. customers in Buriram Province. While made in Taiwan might not always have been a sign of quality in years past it is something to consider in 2015 when comparing hammers in Buriram. The woman employee in the photo is one of the Mother, Daughter teams of cleaning women at the store, not the Stanley Tools employee who can order any Stanley or DeWALT Tool that is currently imported into Thailand by S.P.E.  There are in fact DeWALT Power tools at Ruangsangthai that are made in Europe, Stanley measuring Tools made in the United States, Milwaukee Power Tools made in Germany, Makita Tools made in Thailand or Japan, and Bosch Tools made in the P.R.C.  My welding team when not making work benches for customers are adding a roof enclosure to the North end of the store for better storage of water tanks and portable concrete mixers. Miss Wilawan Sararam has convinced me to expand the under roof cover area of the tool and lawn mower repair department at the front of the store.  Three Makita Power Tools I sold to a local Buriram house builder are getting a real workout on a job site North of Buriram City in a village. The Makita 5402 Circular saw is cutting a good portion of the wood supports for the 2nd floor of this Buriram Village building project which I am supplying 100% of the basic building materials including concrete, steel, PVC, cement, roof tile.

I noted an aluminum ladder and blue steel scaffolding were in use at a Buriram Village House building site I visited this morning. 100% of the building materials and 100% of the power tools at this home building project were sourced and delivered from Ruangsangthai to the local Buriram home building contractor wearing the dark blue shirt up on the wooden forms. Most often bamboo ladders are used at the Buriram home building construction projects I visit to see local Thai house builders.

Last time I looked for a ladder, Rueagsongthai had only one 12 (maybe 14) metre two part ladder and those horrible steps that are too steep and too narrow for stability. also it is impossible to use them in a normal fashion without bruising your shins. I bought a 5 metre bamboo ladder for ฿300. at the roadside
Sorry about this, but when I want building materials I buy them early in the morning, no native English speakers about then.

Does your place have hand planers, kind of like the picture below?  I haven't been able to find one so far and have some wood doors that need correcting.

mmm, I don't. I did tree surgery work in my youth and above ten metres it was rope work. I just wanted a 5 or six metre ladder.

Dave: I understand your concern about my previously tardy native English speaker from California. I can assure you that Mr. Nop, Mr. Moses and Mr. Bob are now clocking in at 8:30am on a daily basis.  If you have any customer service issues please come to my desk and speak to me personally and I will resolve the issue. I had staff take photos today with several taller aluminum ladders that I keep in stock at Ruangsangthai at the main builders merchants store on the Buriram Putthaisong Highway 2074 location front display showcase.  These are moderate cost, but factory made, aluminum ladders that can hold the weight of most any Thai home builder.  I have met with "Little Giant" and Werner Ladder importers regarding fiberglass ladder options.  The cost for our store in Buriram Thailand to buy these two brands at wholesale cost seemed too high for the general Buriram home owner or home builder to pay.  If you would like a stronger ladder that is made in a factory other than a Chinese Factory I very much value your suggestions. Bamboo Ladders if treated for termites and perhaps reinforced with suitable wire have proven suitable for T.O.T. and 3BB internet installation teams in Buriram. You may phone my mobile number 089-844-9680 if you have any customer service questions or need help with product questions. 7 days a week a native English speaker will be able to answer questions at my store if you dial 044-666-484 and press 108 for English.
Today is a holiday for the Stanley Hand Tools Buriram Hardware store representative. However I will place an order with the sales manager of Stanley Tools Thailand for the Stanley Hand Planer.

Mr. Pichai, thank you.  We get up to Buriram city every few weeks (we're down near Prakhon Chai), but please let me know when it's available and I'll make sure to come for it.

I may not have a printed sign for "Big Bike Parking" and the parking lot staff do not have a sectioned off VIP area at Ruangsangthai. Any motorcycle is welcome and it is first come first served on covered parking spaces unlike a new shopping Mall in Buriram. I can 100% assure you that every I-Weld price and EVERY Zinsano High Pressure washer everyday price at Ruangsangthai is lower that the Grand Opening Sale price of a fine a/c department store. Even my normal discount price on the Super Lock food storage container sets is lower than the sale prices of the home wares department of Robinson Store in Buriram. The most shocking Buriram prices to me were for Solo Brand pad locks and Solex Brand padlocks. You would think the prices were for Mul T Lock padlocks or Medeco High Security Padlocks.  I realize how that a/c bill is getting paid by margin on the padlocks.

I think I paid ฿3- or 400 less for the Zinsano Actic priced at ฿4590 here.

I'm in Bangkok until Monday. I will order at least three models of the Stanley Hand Planers on Monday and I will post photos when they arrive later next week at Ruangsangthai. I will offer the lowest prices in Thailand on these genuine Stanley Hand Planers.  Expats I showed the Stanley pdf of hand planers actually available in Thailand tipped me off to the possible best sellers.

Are quality automotive hand tools available in Buriram?

If so, where and what brands are available?
