Computer printer, email set up and forwarding
« on: August 06, 2011, 11:32:56 AM »
Can someone assist me please? I have absolutely no idea when it comes to computers and recently took my laptop into a repair shop as it was playing up. Somehow in affecting the repair they lost everything on my computer - all documents, Outlook Express (diary, contacts, email's), Skype, photos - indeed everything on C and D drives of the computer. Even my gmail was deleted and lost from the Internet? and guess what I had no backup to any of it so I am completely up the Swanee! Is there anyone in Buriram or surrounds that would be willing to help me, come to my house, set up my 3 email addresses and my printer and make sure that it has a weekly back up system so that next time something goes wrong I would have at least some back up of all my efforts. I would be eternally grateful and I am sure that I could repay the debt in some way. Hoping to hear from a Good Samaritan soon.

I advice you to take your PC to 'IT relax' computer shop & repair service.
Their location is at Buriram night market, they also have in house service however you will have to pay extra for it of course.
Good luck. sawadi

Admin Thank you for your prompt reply but I am sorry to say that the repair shop that you refer too was the shop that lost all my data and detail in the first place. I now need a farang that is conversant with the elements that I outlined and can help me restore what I had on the computer before its 'repair'.

If you are saying they delete it so its gone.. only future cautious will prevent it from happen in the future.
There is a built in backup option in your laptop operating system (windows?).
*Printer setting, need model name or the CD with the Driver that your PC recognize the printer and communicate with it.
Restoring your gmail and other internet based accounts is an easy task if you remember your passwords. They haven't gone anywhere, they are still exist and active over the Internet its just the links that are not on your PC.
