Suspect I know the answer, but just another example of misguided promotion without thinking the ramifications through!

Isuzu Dmax.
- 1 ECU needed to be repaired because of B5 usage made the sensors go wrong.
- 1 fuel filter had to be replaced 6 months later because the engine was little bit shaking engine when start engine and start to drive.

In both cases Isuzu garage mechanics advised its because of B5 usage.

Mitsubishi garage said B5 is fine for their models, Isuzu said NO for B5.

My advice.
Stick to the manufacturer recommendations and don't try to save few baht because it might just cost you fortune later.....

Used B5 for a couple of years with no issues after being advised by Toyota that is was OK for my vehicle.

My post was asking why it is no longer available at any garages. I suspect it is more to do with food shortages than with reliability issues.
