Invitation to â€œFarangsâ€ living in or near Nang Rong, Buriram.

Welcome to Nang Rong,

Perhaps you have decided to live in or near Nang Rong for the foreseeable future.
Or maybe you are just planning to visit the area regularly.
In either case you may be interested to meet up with fellow â€œFarangsâ€ in the area.

For that purpose a monthly get-together is organized on the first Saturday of every month
from 17:00pm â€“ 19:00pm
at the Hotel P.California in Nang Rong, Buriram.
*See map below.

All are welcome to the meetings.

If you are looking for â€œGolf buddiesâ€ or for Farangs with similar interests as you have or just some information about places that maybe of interest to you in the area, these get- together's offer a good opportunity to realize these wishes.

I will keep you informed on this thread about events, meetings and their locations.

You may be aware that most local farangs meet regularly (often daily) in Pob Suk near the bus station.

There surely can't be more than a handful of farangs in the Nang Rong area. There's Nookie and the rest!

I have asked in the past to post the exact location and photos that we see whats REALLY going on in Pob Suk. so......?

The new get-together venture is a blessed idea and it is always welcome to post and inform the community about things going on in our expats community.

As far as I am aware Nookie is the only BRE member and regular customer of Pob Suk. It is located on the 24 going towards Nong Ki, about 100 yards on the left before turning into the bus station.

Perhaps Nookie can be prevailed upon to provide the finer details.

I live not far from nang rong and didn't know there are meetings not so far away from me.

Well for quite some time ,every Weds & Sat quite a collection of Farangs have been gathering in 'Pop Socks' around 13-00 hrs onwards.

It depends what you define as a meeting,,,,In Pop Socks,a few drinks & chat,you can also order & pick up quite a range of fresh & frozen farang food at really good prices they also have ubc for the football

Almog ,you have to visit to understand what is available on/off the menu.A couple of fresh tasty dishes currently on offer
