Looked a bit dodgy there for a minute. Lots of swing. Now at lunch and the clouds are clearing. Looking good again.

Ponting arguing with the umpire after a review is turned down... not good to see.  Things still going England's way

KP just gone LBW, Seems to be lots of movement in the wicket. Let's declare now and we could have the ashes back home in time for tea.!!!!!

294-5 now, not exactly as good as we hoped... but we still have a lead of almost 200;  I hope Trott can go on to get his 100.

Satisfactory day for England... the Aussies are nowhere!  Good match for Prior so far, 6 catches and 75 n.o.  A lead of 346 and three days to go if needed.

Tendulkar made his 50 centuries in 175 tests;  next come Ponting with 39/151, Kallis with 38/143.  Compare Bradman with 29/52.  It rather puts the moderns in perspective!
But in fairness todays game is a lot different

Happylarry will be calling me 'greatgrandad' soon.  I've watched Bradman...  indeed I've seen him make a 100... and believe me, he was amazing.  I've never seen anyone who could find the gaps in the field the way he could.

No offence 'great grandad'  biggreen

I was a young lad but I remember watching those 6 sixes on a sunday afternoon in 1968
