Oh the irony!
« on: June 05, 2010, 12:57:39 AM »
Hi Bums

As the BP gulf blowout continues I find I have more than a passing interest due to the fact that my pension fund has a large holding in it.

But what really sticks in my throat is all the pontificating by the US senators and media about the pollution of the environment.

Yes, it is a disaster and yes it is effecting peoples livelihoods, but BP have spent to date in excess of $1 billion to try to put it right do they think they don't want to solve the problem ASAP.

Looking at it from the other side ... why are they there in the first place, to supply the world's biggest polluter, so that the ultimate consumers can drive their stretched hummers up and down the strip in Las Vegas.

Now if they could not do that then the s**t really would hit the fan.

This brings to mind a saying which includes the words, bite and feeds.  Or it could also be, cake and eat it!

Corporados are never considered criminal....even if they are deemed persons, to world's standards. It's a sad state that we exist in a suppression of controlling corporatocracy {also known as Fascism in some circles}. Why....?? Because we like it that way. Nothing will change until we live our protest, instead of whoring ourselves to the corporate-government pimp. chairhit helpsos
