Their are two ways of getting  water to your house when using a bore (well)
one is by gravity feed ,  you need to ensure your storage tanks are higher then your taps ext.. this method will involve just 1 pump
which is call the submersible pump  this is the pump in the bore   which energises by a float valve in you storage tank so when your tank is getting low the pump will auto start and fill the tank up to the desired level and cut off ...

The other way is by using two pumps  first is the Submersible which pumps nice clean water to your storage tanks operated by a on/off float valve ,  Second pump is a pressure pump that pumps water from the tank to you house operated by a pressure switch.

Hi

Don't want to put a dampener on your efforts but if you intend to drink the water apparently it should not be near a septic/waste tank for fear of contamination. nono

The recommended distance is I believe is 1 kilometer which really makes it a no no for most people, unless you are really in the boonies!

Hi

Well at the moment we already have a tank with float valve which is topped up by the mains supply.
However, that mains supply isn't providing water permanently and randomly may not provide anything for a whole week!!
This is the main reason why I considered have the tank fed by a well instead.
Our pump is also on it's way out so it would be an ideal time to do it now.

Its an interesting point about the location of the septic tank I hadn't considered that.unfortunately I don't have 1km of garden  so I'll just have to find somewhere else in the grounds thats as far away as possible.
This water or water from the mains we wouldn't use for drinking however the better half does use it for cooking and washing....

Hi all,

Is there maybe someone here who knows an address for drilling a water well near Nong Hong?
And for a pump with all.
The well will be used for the watering of the fields. So not a well of 10 meters for in your garden.
Or has some one already have experiance with a well in Burriram? Prices and so.
So far i haven't seen a farmer using this.
I'm still living in the Netherlands. It's for my gf and her parents fields.

regards
