Rockey is the owner, the name of the place is "CAFE CONNECTION"  (Restaurant number 6, See menu on the left side on the map it's on Jira road).

Many people will have Xmas/New Year plans already booked.

I would suggest the 'turnout' may be better a short time away from those dates.

Hi Guys,

I'll be in Buriram hopefully by the 15th December for about a week, and then I'm off to Cha Am for Christmas and then back by about the 27th December.   Will there be a meeting of some sort between say the 16th and 21st Dec?  If so let me know, I'd like to put a face to the names I've been talking to (via the internet).

Hi Bums

My two pennoth!  Most people have family commitments Christmas & New Year so personally I think a few days either side of those should be avoided.

However, someone suggested 22nd but Khun Tony can only make 21st Dec so maybe it could be 21/12 if OK with Rocky?

Myself, I will be out of Thailand early in new year (Visa run).

Must admit it would be nice if Prakonchai Nick attended in Father Christmas outfit!   ( note to self... bring camera ... blackmail opportunity!)

If you don't mind me asking and I won't be offended if you dont reply but what kind of visa do you have that requires you to make a visa run and how often is that.

In respect to getting together for a drink.  If it's more suitable to hold a function later that fine, but if you hold it on the 21st or earlier, I'll be there.  As I said it would be nice to put some faces to names.   I mean I've probably seen some of you guys over the years but have never said hello.

I have a multi entry O visa so have to report every 90 days, But I usually take the opportunity to get out of the country for a few days on a cheapie flight or just drive to Laos.

How far is Laos from Buriram?  How long does it take by road and is there much there at the border crossing?
