Thanks so much for the invite to the Bamboo bar next Monday.
I registered with this forum almost 12 months ago and then the first time I checked in again I was unable to connect- consequently have not been back since.
So again thanks for the contact and I look forward to more participation.
My wife and I have lived near Lam Plai mat in Buri Ram province for many years.
Heading off to the elephant festival in Surin for 3 days this afternoon. Will let you know on sunday if we can get into BR on Monday.

Told them to expect a few more than usual for lunch on Monday.....No problems we can handle that

How many? they asked....about 15 or so I told them.....Oh My Budhha That many?

They assured me they will be fine with the influx

So its a goer for sure.........

Good idea Dave #1. If Dave #2 wears one, I will as well...Dave #3 and my mate pommy Ron said he would love to be a Dave for a day (and wished his parents had called him Dave at birth) so he can be Dave #4. David Beckham may turn up, so I will make a #5 for him as well (or should that be #23) David Niven wanted to come, but really cant make it this time. David letterman wanted to come, but I told him he wasnt invited

It may be an idea if these are regular meetings, to have a think about alternative venues. Instead of going to the same place each time, it might be good to spread our 'custom' around a bit!
