Where to buy Traveller Palm (กล้วยพัด)

Guys,

for the new house we want to buy Traveller Palms (Thai: กล้วยพัด) we have been to a lot of Garden Centers in Buriram (City) and Krasang and inbetween. And all they can say is "Mai Mee"

We are willing to travel ALL over (within) Buriram Province to buy them.

The next time you are going to a Garden Center can you ask if they have them?

We need approx 6-8 (maybe even 10). Must NOT need to be OLD plants, as we like to see them grow.

Iammike, the only place that I know of that sells traveller palms is in Bangkok.  They do send plants by courier.

I asked the garden center in satuk. He got one for me wihtin a week.
I have also sendt him pictures of other palms i like and he get them.
He goes often to bankok or nurseries.
He also send .e photoes before ha bought for me :-)

Thx. But we have went to a lot of garden centres (a couple of times already)  in the last couple of weeks and always same answer, first they will try, and then on subsequent visits ?Mai Mee? or they tell us cannot order or shop we order from is closed etc

We called the shop Tassie posted and he will get back to us.

Edit: must admit we haven?t been to the shop in Stuk (as that is how they write Satuek in Krasang) but have been to many others in Buriram city and From there towards Krasang

I always have great results when I see the lady in the garden shop near the Monument. (first stall on the left at entry, her name is Pen) I'd be really surprised if she wouldn't get it if you asked. At the least it may be a second quote. She will also plant them for you.

Thx Wayne, BUT We have been there around 1-1.5 weeks ago and NO luck as they still haven't phoned us. Even the sellers on Lazada have ran out

The place in Bangkok has thousands of travelers palms. Like always,sometimes it pays to jog peoples memories by giving them a call again and cementing the deal over the phone by placing a firm order and obviously getting the price and how to pay for them and how they will be delivered  Things are a little mixed up in the business world at the moment, due to the lock down. It's worth persevering to get what you want

Will do, but we fortunately have some time so if he hasn't called in another weeks time we will phone him again.

The only problem is that when ALL garden centers come back to use that they have the Palms available (and we buy them all) we don't have room for any other plants 555555555555555555555555
