Thx,

but reading some comments on TV, it's not as straight forward as said.

For example

Quote

Unfortunately not all Imm offices are complying with this.

Mine continues to require 90 day reports, refuses to accept them online and demands a bribe to submit them in person.

Quote

Yes mine too...I phone them today ..they want me to go to make my 90 days..as they also refuse it by mail !!! (sorry for my bad English)

I wonder if they tried the hotline number

Maybe point out those not complying with the order

I agree, but TiT, I wouldn't count on it very much, but maybe that's me being skeptical.

My 90 day is due early next month, I will still do the Online Reporting and if that fails visit the Immigration Office.

Why is anybody even contacting their immigration office.................. the order is unequivocal.....  NO 90 DAY REPORTS until 31 July.

Agree entirely with that. Have had several people ask me about it, yet still contact Immigration......who of course want them to visit.and "pay" for the service.

There is a hotline..........Immi HQ in Bangkok have a telephone number. Use it and name and shame.   I did 30 years ago when 100,000bt was demanded by Pattaya immi for an application for PR. Contacted the immi boss, who 2 weeks later visited me personally at my home in Jomtien one weekend (whilst his wife and kids stayed on the beach)  he took my application and papers, handled the PR  process for me personally over later months and I never paid a satang more than the correct fee.

When 90 day reporting was first introduced,(I think Pattaya Immi jumped the gun) a friend rang Bangkok..they laughed and told him that he could do all future business in Bangkok if he wished, without any problem. he did-right up to when he died at 81.

Wise words from CoCo and Nick  oldmanwithstick

I have a little concern about what will happen after July 31st

Large queues at immigration etc.,  slapfight
Or will we be surprised again with another unusually good idea?  party14  thailandflag

Please remember also .... Posted by Tod Daniels on the Thai Visa Advice FB page

ATTENTION MEMBERS
Visas, entry stamps & extensions covered by the up coming amnesty program

-14 day bilateral agreement entry (two countries)
-15 day visa on arrival entry (18 countries)
-30 day visa exempt entry (51 countries)
-30 day bilateral agreement entry (6 countries)
-90 day bilateral agreement entry (5 countries)
-60 day tourist visa entry
-30 day extension (on 30 day visa exempt & 60 day tourist visa entries)
-30 day COMPLETED covid-19 extension  (NOT the under consideration stamp)
-60 day visit thai family extension (marriage to a thai & raising kids)
-single entry Non-Imm visa 90 day entry (any type; O, B, ED, etc)
-multi-entry year long Non-Imm visa 90 day entry (any type; O B, ED, etc)

IF you have ANY of the above stamps (OR a combination of those stamps) and your current stamp expires AFTER the 26th of March you are currently covered on THIS amnesty plan which runs until the 30th of April.
AND
When the NEW amnesty plan (that has not been passed into law yet) starts you will be covered until no longer than July 31st.

NOTE: if you are on a long term extension of stay based on education or employment that is stopping you CANNOT just let it run out , you MUST go to the immigration office and cancel the extension and THEN you will qualify for the amnesty program

BE ADVISED if you are on a long-term extension of stay (retirement, marriage, employment, education, raising kids, volunteering, etc) GO and get your next extension like normal AND if you have a 90 day report due, try the online portals OR go file it. (The immigration offices are almost empty and you'll be in and out quickly.)
We recommend in the above long term extension situations do not fool with the amnesty program, just go get your extension as you would normally do it. While you might get a different idea reading this or that news blurb, or be told something different by this or that forum, group, person etc, this is what WE are advising on the group.
