Uploading pictures from a phone
« on: July 05, 2016, 06:05:33 AM »
Hello guys is it possible to add pictures direct from a phone to the forum .
I use a Samsung phone and it's saying the pics are to large.
On other forums I use tappatalk and it's very easy it uses auto shrink the same as Facebook ,does  this forum have tappatalk yet ?
Thanks .

When I post a picture via my iPad, I use a program (free) called "simple resize". It easily resizes the picture and keeps the original.

Search for it in the Google Playstore.

Maybe it helps

It is quite simple.

Change your phone settings to around 1m pixels.

That is it. Simple.

That is what I do for the 4 forums I use. None of them have tapatalk.

Thanks guys .
The pictures I want to put on are already on my phone at more than 1 m so I guess I will need to resize , or simply not add them .
No worries thanks again .

Photos need to be resizes or change your phone setting as mentioned by iamike and Starman

It's very easy , even a builder should be able to do it   :)

Cheers guys I will add pictures to my website and add the link in a few weeks .
The system this forum uses is very old and could be upgraded BUT I'm not sure the format will suport .
Surin forum was like this but we changed it over to a better faster set up , it cost me around $300 in total but was worth it .
We now have mobile freindly system and aslo tappatalk as well as normal mode :-)
Thanks anyway guys , next time I will carry a camera with me set  on internet use , can't be bothered changing settings back and forth on my phone plus I like higher resolution pictures for my websites .
