Koncept Furniture Showroom (Surin or Buriram)?
« on: December 08, 2016, 05:42:20 PM »
Hello,

I'll need plan a day trip "adventure" to buy some (well pretty much ALL) furniture for a new house. I quite like IKEA but there's only 1 shop, in Bangkok, and prices are... hmmm.. much higher than those at IKEA in Europe.

I found Koncept Furniture (SB Furniture) that seems quite interesting as well. My concern is that on the website it always look very good but we're never sure it turns out quite as fancy in real life.

Do anyone know the Koncept dealer/showroom in Buriram and/or Surin? Worth a look or the items on display are quite limited?

Hi Boris,
I haven't been in the new Koncept showroom in Buriram but driving by it looks reasonably large.
SB Design Square in Korat I have been in many times. It does do Koncept furniture but also many other brands. They have some nice stuff.
Major Furniture in Korat is also well worth a look. They have some excellent bedroom ranges that seemed a slightly better quality than many I have seen here. They also stock McMichal range which is nice if you like more contemporary.
TBH, I have struggled to find nice furniture in Buriram generally. There is a shop on the upper floor at the Buriram Robinsons Centre that does leather sofas and chairs. Bit pricey but looks good stuff. Also Loftform in HomePro. We got our sofas from there. Took a while for them to get the order right but now that they have we are happy with purchase.

Thanks Freddy. Good advise about Korat, I'll try to convince Mrs that it would be worth a 2h drive...  :(

I bought a sofa from the small Koncept store in Prakhonchai, good quality, good price and free delivery. Happy with that.

We got a bunch of furniture from them.  The showroom is small, but has a good selection to give you an idea of what they're offering, and they can order from the full Koncept catalogue if they don't have the items you want on the floor.  Delivery for catalogue orders usually took a week.
