Soil for Lamd Raising
« on: November 16, 2014, 01:47:39 PM »
Currently having about 50 truck loads of soil delivered to raise some land. The guys doing it are doing a good job, very thorough and distributing exactly as requested. I'm in Non Tacrong, Lam Plait Mat. The soil is in Non Tacrong. Apparently the have another 1000 truck loads available if anyone needs it. 270 THB per truck including tractor and driver for spread and pack.
Contact number is 0874459760. Thai speaker.

Hi Freddy
Can You tell me what kind of filling it is? dirt, top soil, clay or worse
I could probably take 400 loads (at a guess and then depending on my finances) I got 560 Talon Wah to raise about 1 metre
I'm south of the Iphone stadium
Thank you in advance
regards

Morning, to be honest with you I am no soil expert so would be guessing. All I know is that it has become available following rice harvesting. The soil that arrived at our place was relatively loose ( not clots) spread easily but packed well. ( maybe topsoil with a fair degree of clay) Others from the area with more knowledge may be able to elaborate. Suggest giving Lek a call on the number provided. Given location I'm not sure on price per load as transport distance will presumably be a factor. It may well be that given the time of year there is plenty of soil available mor local to your land.
Sorry not to be of more help.

That's a good price, assuming that these are 5M3 truckloads. We paid a lot more and had to take a minimum of 5 truckloads.  Probably needs improving if for use in a garden but no point in asking on the phone what kind of soil it is, go and look.

The price for me may well have been low because the soil came from just 2 mins along the road. The wife reckoned it was the same price her neighbour paid 4 years ago.
