Countdown at Phanom Rung Historical Park

On the night 31st of December, many places around Buriram area will be countdown party.
There will be countdown at Phanom Rung also, but on the Thai style.
On the day of 31st of December there will be many kind of show and Thai food until 00.01 am. 1st of January.
On the 1st jan at 05.00 am, all the people will wear white cloths and walk about 2km to the historical park and make donation ceremony.

The video is, with respect, not much use. It just shows Phanom Rung on an ordinary day, with Thai soundtrack.

But I doubt that at 5am on 1st Jan, there will be any BR expat members sober enough (or interested enough) to make their way to Phanom Rung even if they were able to understand what was going to happen.

Actually I am Agnostic with leanings towards Buddhism and beer   

Slight bit of confusion ... I will enjoy the morning and I am really looking forward to it .... if I wake up alive after a day at the in-laws  followed by a few hours at Paddys
