After the termites polished off my yard broom brought at great inconvenience from the UK, I soaked another one in creosote before again bringing to Thailand.
It has remained insect free now for several years!
However, they have now chomped on the wooden handle of my spade also brought at great inconvenience from the UK.
So before they tuck into any further tools I would like to give them the creosote treatment.
Any ideas if it is available anywhere in Buriram? I am told that I can smother wooden handles in used car oil which has a similar effect. But last time I did this I ended up smelling like a Thai village garage every time I used it.
