Job Description:
Bright Future International Training & Services (BFITS), an educational organization which provides primary and secondary academic programs to private and government schools in Thailand, seeks to hire motivated, responsible BA/BS graduates.

Positions:

Mixed (boys/girls) high school located in dowtown Buriram.

Positions available teaching in a public high school located in downtown Buriram.  The students in the school are respectful and eager to learn English from a native English speaker.  Teaching 22-24 hours a week with class sizes from 35-45.  The school has a atmoshere of achievement and very friendly Thai staff and students.



Please note that Buriram positions come with a 5,000 baht relocation bonus paid at completion of 1st year contract for those applying from outside Northeastern Thailand.

Benefits:

• 32,500 baht salary per month plus 500 baht per hour over 100 teaching hours/monthly

• 10 month contract that can be extended for additional years and additional benefits (contract from May to Mid-March with 1/2 March and April off).

  *No reduction in pay during contract months due to reduced teaching hours or school closure/holidays.

• Monthly supplemental attendance bonus of 750 baht per month.

• End of Contract bonus up to 30,000 baht with additional years.

• Guaranteed yearly 3% cost of living pay increase minimum.

• BUPA medical insurance paid.

• BUPA dental insurance paid.

• 1-2 weeks paid vacation (additional week for each additional year of employment up to 4 weeks).

• All Thai government holidays off with pay (13-15 days annually)

  *These are mandatory government holidays in addition to paid vacation.

• 2-4 Paid personal/sick days (unused personal days reimbursed at 500 baht per day at end of contract).

• Assistance in obtaining a Non-B visa (Teacher must provide proper documentation-Original Degree/TEFL).

• Visa extension, work permit, and teacher’s license paid by BFITS.

• Required "Thai Culture Course" for Work Permit/Visa paid by company.

• Assistance locating housing provided (if needed).

• Airport pickup provided (if needed).

• Yearly professional development training provided for free during school breaks. Topics of training based on teacher requests and needs.

• Western Management.



Working Conditions:

• Teaching hours range from 20-25 a week.

• Class sizes range from 35-45 students per class.

• School hours are approximately 08.00-15.30 Monday to Friday.

• Curriculum and lesson plans are already developed.

• All teaching materials are supplied by BFITS: Lesson Plans, Worksheets, Flashcards, Audio CDs, etc.



Responsibilities:

• Teach assigned subjects to assigned classes as per schedule provided.

• Adapt/Modify and deliver lessons provided by BFITS to meet the needs of the students and class.

• Maintain weekly office hours.

• Maintain student grading/assessment using company online Learning Management System.

• Attend office meetings or professional development held during office hours (if/when needed).
