Cool weather returns to N/NE Thailand

2,000 blankets for mountain folk

The Rajaprajanugroh Foundation yesterday provided 2,000 blankets to victims of the cold in mountainous areas of Nan's Bo Klua district and Chalerm Phrakiat.

As the mercury dropped to 8-10 Celsius at night on the province's mountaintops, foundation chairman Disathorn Watcharothai presented 1,000 blankets along with some royally granted items to each area's representatives.

The Weather Bureau has warned that temperatures will be 2-4 degrees cooler from today through Tuesday.

I would mind it been a bit cooler in the day too,,,,,,,its been bloody hot again the last few days.........

My car Thermometer was showing 16 degrees F, about -10 C.       (in Alabama)
