This is Mr Bob. I received two Sinovac free via the Buriram Government Hospital huge ongoing vaccination effort at the Racetrack | Football field mass vaccination site.  I also paid months ago for four doses of Moderna at the Bangkok Hospital in Korat. The next day Ram Ekachon Hospital put Moderna on sale. The day after Pfizer at no charge became available for FIRST shot for expats over 60 in many Government Hospitals including even Satuk.   When I paid for Moderna I had no expectation to receive the shot until sometime in the first quarter of 2022. However it MIGHT in fact be here earlier at the private hospitals for those who have PAID in advance.  From the "Thai Enquirer" website
https://www.thaienquirer.com/32759/moderna-jabs-to-reach-thailand-from-mid-october/
Thailand?s acquisition of the highly anticipated Moderna COVID-19 vaccine will see the first batch arriving by mid-October, with deliveries continuing to March 2022, the government confirmed on Thursday.

The Thai Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO), together with Zuellig Pharma LTD and the Thailand?s Private Hospital Association (PHA), have worked to secure a total of 1,958,400 million doses of the mRNA vaccine for the country by the end of the year.

The organization aims to deliver the first batch of 300,000 around mid-October, according to the Ministry of Public Health.

A further 3 million doses will arrive between January and March 2022, the organization said.

Each time the batches are delivered, Zuellig will be sending the vaccines to be quality checked first at the Department of Medical Sciences, which will take another three to five days before distribution to private hospitals throughout the country.

Meanwhile, the GPO will be in charge of handling the allocation of the vaccines according to the quota booked by each private hospital and the Thai Red Cross Society on a ?first come first serve? basis, and thus inform the organizations in advance to allow them to schedule their vaccination services accordingly.

While this is the first time Zuellig Pharma is working in contract with the GPO and PHA on such a scale the company also confirmed that the delivery schedule to each hospital and institutions will be in accordance with the orders coming from each manufacturer (first come first serve).

Therefore, private hospitals can be assured that there would be enough vaccines for those who have registered for and pre-ordered the them as planned, the pharma company said.

Got the jab today at Surin

Loads of people there ,even though the whole process took under 2 hours from start to finish. By the way, it was organized. I thought at first it was going to take longer.

It was nice to bump into some people I hadn't seen  for a while  from the local Surin Forum.
