Termites

New house less than a year old and I found one interior door frame ruined by termites. Has anyone had any recent dealing with a local termite company?  Looking for recommendations. Thanks in advance.

Deputy David, we use a local Buriram man who charges around 12,000 baht a year. On his first visit he will do a saturation and then attend your premises every 3 months or whenever you have problem. Since he sprayed ours we have had no further termite problems, no ants, no cockroaches and no spiders. His number is 0614414417, not sure of his name.

Called him and made a deal for treatment. It was much more extensive than what was explained to me. He treated the detached garage and a four room apartment that we have in the village as well. He was in the attic and sprayed down the opening of the nano block. The real problem areas he placed bait boxes. They also put a probe in the dirt around the house in many different spots and pressure treated the dirt. We opted for a one year contract. He will come back in one month and touch up problem areas and every 3 months for full treatment. Money well spent I think considering we have a lot of wood in the house. I recommend highly if anyone is planning to build a house have the pipes installed when the footings are poured this way they can treat the dirt under the house so you don?t have issues. Had I known I would have had it done but my builder thought a bit of chandrite would be sufficient, clearly not the case!!  Thanks for the referral!!! Cost was 23000 but the work was well done and I am happy.
