Bangkok Bank will issue a Master card Debit Card in Thailand

Mr. Jack of Jack's Resort Buriram showed me his newly issued Bangkok Bank Debit Card with the Master Card logo. He said he paid 400 baht. The less than helpful Union Pay was quoted at 300 baht to Mr. Jack.

Question if I may.

What is the validity date on that new Master Debit Card ?

The reason why I ask is that BBL issued Master Debit Cards (I believe last year or so) with a Validity of only 6 months

Mr. Jack's Master Card is valid through a month in 2023.  Late in 2023.  Yes Bangkok Bank was selling some "near expiration date" Visa debit cards last year. This Master Card debit card does require a 6 digit pin code. It does have the smart chip.
