2013 Subaru XV 2.0 - Fully Optioned
« on: May 08, 2016, 08:54:33 AM »
My wife and I are living in Australia, our intention was to live here for one year only but have now decided to live here indefinitely, so we would like to sell our car. We have a loan with Kasikorn Bank and are currently paying approximately 15500THB per/month and have approximately 28 months left to pay off the car. The bank has informed us that the new buyer could take over the bank payments upon the bank approving them. The car drives great and has been regularly serviced, there is a couple of dents though hardly noticeable.

850.000 + the 28 repayments (15500 each) so that is approx 1.2 Million.

Correct ?

Hi iammike, the bank has informed me that they must approve the buyer, so it is if you are applying for a loan and then yes you could possibly take over the payments. I showed 6mths worth of payslips from working in Australia and they approved me. There is only the 28 months left to purchase the car outright, plus what you want to offer me.
eg...
Take over loan: 28months x 15,500 = 434,000.
Purchase price, minus take over loan: 850,000 - 434,000 = 416,000.
You pay me 416,000 and take over the loan at 15,500 p/month or you pay full purchase price and I pay back the bank in full. Initial purchase price was 1,350,000.

To All, I have only had a few replies about the sale of my car, albeit through another website. We didn't seem to get a decent enough offer for it so we are taking it off the market and keeping it. Cheers, Gesse.
