May I ask why you think it?s not ?

This one (see link) is the Buriram Immigration I just recently used, so yes that one is still open but with the Songkran holidays there could be dates that they are closed.

I have no idea if Buriram will help you or not, maybe someone else (Starman ???) can comment, but IMHO I think as your registered address is in Jomtien you have to go there to get it.

Question, Do you have a Yellow House Book with a Buriram address ?

If you go to BI I would suggest it will cost you a bit of cash ,as I doubt you have notified them of you not being in your registered abode...........

To do it in Buriram you will need proof of address. Wife's house book and ID card, or a rent agreement from a landlord. The province in which those documents are registered will need to be the same as where you need to get your certificate of residence. As Nookie pointed out, if you have not submitted a Tm30 or Tm28 you maybe subject to a fine of 800 baht.

May I ask, for what purpose do you require a cert of residence?

No need to go to immigration. Get a certificate from Buriram police station. Just need copies of your passport, wife's ID and house book.

If your wife is registered in a house book in Buriram then no problem. No need to say anything about you.

No problem. The police don't ask for confirmation of marriage.
