Is there a way to go straight from Buriram to Rayong? That is, not going via Bangkok? And also not returning to Buriram, so any tours are out, probably...

Nakonchai Airalso run direct down to Rayong from Buriram.Service no 588 Ubon -Rayong.In my book they offer a far superior service to the 'Yellow Bus',They also have a timetable & do adhere to it.

NakornchaiAir is the way to go.

Direct bus from Buriram - Rayong, price around 400 THB.

Their bus station is next to the main bus station in Buriram and you can also book a seat via phone. Their Phone number is 1624 and you can pay for the ticket at your local 7/11
