Water filter
« on: September 06, 2014, 10:23:17 PM »
I bought a water filter to clean the water from our tank to the house from Home-pro about 18 months ago. Apparently it is not working and all the water is coming through brown. I have been told by my G/F that it is because it is too small and we need a much larger one. Has anyone got any recommendations (phone number would be handy) as to where we can find out more info and look at buying one!
I will also have to buy new fittings for the bathroom pluming as the fittings that I bought at the same time have rotted off!
Thanks

I am absolutely not a specialist, but also we think about to buy a good filter for drinking water. My idea comes from the swimming pool. There you can use a special glass instead of sand. You can clean that filter on the same way as a sandfilter: backwash it and you never need to change the glass! For drinking water exists a finer glasstype. We will inform us and if the idea is realistic, we will buy this system.

Our board member "Pichai" has a business in Buriram that features all manner of water pumps, filters, etc.

He seems to be very helpful and knowledgeable on the subject.

Maybe PM him here, or call him at his business.

Yes, I recommend Pachi.  A bud of mine had brown water issues.  Pachi sent the water sample to Bangkok and would not accept payment until he got they water system fixed.
