looking for advice for travelling to Buriram with current floods
« on: November 09, 2011, 12:00:43 AM »
Looking for some advice. I live in BKK but our home has been affected by the floods. We came to Cham Am 6 weeks ago (originally just for a 3 week holiday!). Thinking of going to wife's hometown now so we don' t have to fork out any more money on hotels. What is the road situation like at the moment? We will be travelling by bus. The guy at the station told us he had no idea how long it would take. Does that really mean it will probably be an 18 hour plus journey from hell?! If so, I would rather stay put to avoid any problems as travelling with a young family. Any info greatly appreciated.
