A new steak and wine bar undergoing construction at the moment will be opening its doors early july. Ling the owner is presently constructing a beautiful well designed building along with a waterfall at the front. Steaks will be his specialty along with wine,beer and coffee. Wow, hope they will have a choice other than Kobe (Thai) steaks.

We sell Thai tenderloin and, I have to say, That I was pleasantly surprised with the quality.

The missus buys circa 3.5 kg of tenderloin to get 3kg of decent meat.

Local Thai tenderloin costs 160 Baht/kilo versus tenderloin from my Scottish butcher at 425 Baht.

Other than some special places (like listed here), my favorite steaks are what I cook.  Unfortunately I am not having good luck with good charcoal, which is why I would like to find a good grilled steak.  I am about to make some charcoal myself.
