Anti Spyware

Hi All

One of the school computers got hit with a spyware/malware item named jjdrive32.exe. This basically resulted in the virus taking up almost 100 percent of cpu resulting in the computer running slightly slower than snail pace.

Couldn't get anything done. On another computer I investigated, via the internet, what this file was all about. Every web site was saying DANGEROUS, GET RID etc. There was a link on one web site leading to a free anti spyware program. I was sceptical as alot of these websites result in a final page asking for ex amount of pounds/euros/dollars.

I decided to download it and save it on my flash drive. I then started the infected computer in safe mode, installed the software and rebooted. To my amazement the program run, located the virus and deleted it. As the computer was now running at a good speed I ran a virus scan using the existing virus scanner(ESET4) and this found nothing else.

The computer is now good as new.

This seems to be a must program as a malware/spyware destroyer and absolutely free.
