Title: Other peoples misfortunes.
Post by: TBWG on July 05, 2009, 04:54:36 PM

Hi Bums

Far be it for me to revel in other peoples misfortunes, but a certain member of this forum who shall remain anonymous (alright, I'll give you a clue **** the Dude) was bitten on the arse recently by one of those centipede thingys :D

Now what possessed him to put it in his boxers in the first place is the subject of much conjecture, but it most go down as one of those seemed like a good idea at the time brainstorms. confused4.

Anyway, I think he would welcome any ideas as to how to relieve the throbbing and no a liberal dose of Tiger Balm only made it worse. Myself I think a quick spray with battery acid and a going over with a wire brush should do the job or at least give him something else to worry about!

the story goes like this .....

Give your bedding a bloody good shake if its been outside airing/drying

Midnight, last night I was biten on the @rse twice by a little centipede/millipede(didn't count the legs) whilst in bed.

After killing the little brown 3 inch long critter, I went online to see if there was some sort of First Aid remidy.
Friggin' Baking Powder! Fat chance of having that in my house!
After a cold shower, far to many English Paracetamols and cups of Tea, I sat all night with an ice pack(not pick) on my Arse.

Although it hurt like hell, after 6/7 hours its fine now!

Good, PARTY! PARTY!

I have to agree they certainly do give a good nip.I had the misfortune to get bit on the foot by one of the greyish pink ones a couple of years ago, even after several injections at the local hospital it was 2 days before I could put my weight onto that foot
