No disrespect to a few posters that recommended nitrogen filled tyres, but I just came across this:

I must confess that as a previous supporter of nitrogen filled tyres I have been swayed in the other direction by some of the posts and information provided. However, I've never paid more than £1.50 per tyre. Some of the prices being charged in US and Australia are ridiculous.
