During my visit in Buriram I was amazed to see how many new houses and condos developments are being built in Buriram.
Especially the condos developments which are to my opinion over Valued (28 sqm condo 1.3-2 million baht).
What are your inputs about these current developments?

Over built and over priced. I went to a condo grand opening. Most of the cars had Bangkok plates. So I guess to compare with BKK pricing, here is cheaper, but still out of reach for most locals.

If you are fortunate enough to have a bit of land (and let's face it, most of our wives/girlfriends do) you can build a hell of a lot for 2 million baht.
Living out of town isn't everyone's cup of tea I know but I'd hate living in a row of condos where the neighbours home is a carbon copy of yours.
Different strokes for different folks I guess.

In all seriousness if you know a good builder Freddie, we are looking.

We are quite pleased with our. He is making another house at the moment, but can give his phone number if interested..
(And im not sure how busy he is in near future :-) )

DD. Unfortunately, the guy I use is currently working in Bangkok. I'm not sure when he's back but can get my wife to give him a call if you like.
Be aware, he's just a local village fella and doesn't actually have a building team. He kinda musters up a crew depending on the job which ends up being him the only decent builder and lots of labourers.
Very much depends on what sort of build your after.

Thank you for the help. We are picking up final plans on Wednesday this week and taking them to get a build list and cost of material. We will want to contact builders after we know cost of material. That should take a few days. I will keep in touch.
