Some Pics of the New Bahn.... The build started December 2015
-
The Bahn was built on top of an old concrete cattle pen. The galvanized pipe is the fence.
-
Starting to take shape.
-
Love the build.

Thanks Tassie...Photo's working so will keep them coming. This pic shows roof overhang of 3mt to keep the sun of the Bahn.. Azimuth Altitude and.... ok I forgot all of that stuff from my training... Punched the figures into a web sight and given the sun reaches it's northern most site around 21st of this month all looking good in the shade. Builders can do anything you ask.. You just need to make sure it is clear what you want.
-
Steel roof frame. Northern side of Bahn. You might notice the vegetation has been cleared. Another story but as the Baht return on rice has dropped the farm is taking another direction with use of the land.
-
Roof framing
-
Just in case it might rain one day decided to put a roof on. Roof double insulated also (with Batts) in case it gets hot one day!
-
Fishy- Did you fabricate the roof trusses on site or did you buy them in?
Regards congrats
-
Non Suwan ,just up the road from Nookies!!

Trusses made on location. Photo of the veranda roof frame being built.

@Fishy: Looks like you are going to have a really nice house when it's finished. Well done mate
-
Running a slab of concrete around the Bahn ... Getting close to being finished...Photo taken two weeks ago and Bahn as good as finished now.
-
Pouring the slab up the other side of Bahn..
-
Last pics of the Man Cave.... Anyone looking to do a similar build I can recommend these people.. Have no hesitation in giving them a plug for a job well done.. I was not in a hurry to finish the build.. overall it took 5 months to complete. It could have been built a lot quicker (3 months) if I wanted to however I agreed to let some of the workers go to start another job...(I was thinking it might work in my advantage..TiT...I think it did?) The amount of hassle in the build was zero.... I must also say the Bahn is a solid build... there may be the odd imperfection but it is as solid as... Chong Gow !!!
