Title: Happy Songkran
Post by: digitalnomad on April 12, 2016, 08:55:40 AM
Hi,

Just wanted to say nice forum and looks like a good expat community in Buriram. I'm from the UK and have been in Thailand for a few years (married with two kids). We live just outside Bangkok (North) and have a place in Buriram somewhere (can't remember the name).

We come up once a month usually for the kids to visit their grandparents.

Work wise i'm based online and have an office at home nothing special but it pays the bills and allows me to live in Thailand.

This year will be the first time I will be spending Songkran in Buriram. Just wondering if there are any activites going on in the city? Also was thinking of taking my oldest son (6 years) for water fights around the city do you guys know of any particular roads that are good for this?

Thanks

A LOT of traffic today, many seemed to be from Bangkok. Plan on staying at home for at least three days now
