I got lost in the market yesterday as I realised that many stalls had been moved and that many seemed to have new roofs. There are huge hoardings up outside showing plans for a new concrete market hall. I am hoping that the character of the market won't be changing. I already decided that this has to be 10 times better than the Buriram Christmas market and that you can find just about anything in there.

Being not too familiar with the area (and always looking out for new places) could you please give me some more info on this market. What is special and where can it be found. I could not find a location using google earth.
Thanks....

Its at the border crossing...........I don't find it to be 'special' but if you've never been you'll find it interesting.

Thank you. I think that I know which place you mean and if correct I have been there many years ago. Maybe time for a revisit.

Saveone market Korat. What a fantastic market that is.. First time I've been there and I couldn't believe how big it is.. If your ever in Korat you have to go see it.. Open from 6pm onwards

Just drive on through Kap Choeng, its a few kilometres further on.
I don't think you can compare it to the night market in Korat.

To which Korat night market are you referring to??

I found some decent Cambodian hard wood furniture there. Had to level all the legs when I got it home, though.
