Happy the Knobhead was caught and not let off.. No motorcycles allowed on that road and he knows it.. Bet he uses that Road everytime aswell but got caught this time.. No chance he would of been fined on his own Turf.. Welldone the Bangkokpolice

You'd have to think he was a bit unlucky to get nabbed. Yes ... maybe he shouldn't have been in a prohibited lane ... but with all the suicidal looney maniacs driving wherever they want in Thailand ... I reckon the cops just got lucky and pinched a celeb.
400 baht fine ? :D Wonder if he asked for a receipt ?
Stories like this episode are gold for guys like Newin. It's a nothing story ... and doesn't do him any harm ... and for 400 baht it keeps his name bubbling along in the media.
Priceless publicity.

Particularly clever was what his wife did. She posted a picture on Facebook. The story that she wrote to accompany it was very clever. Something along the lines of as he was a naughty boy he had to be punished. How nice it was to see him paying up instead of trying to get out of it because of who he is and how nice to see the friendly police in Bangkok going by the book.
All in all a positive story. As Smooth2 says "priceless publicity".
You have to admire her in this case.
